The Evangelical Theological Society is a professional academic society of biblical and theological scholars, pastors, and students. We serve Jesus Christ and his church by fostering conservative, biblical scholarship. We seek to accomplish this goal through our Annual Meeting, regional meetings, and publications such as our Journal.
The Evangelical Missiological Society (EMS) exists to advance the cause of world evangelization. We do this through study and evaluation of mission concepts and strategies from a biblical perspective with a view to commending sound mission theory and practice to churches, mission agencies, and schools of missionary training around the world.
Michelle is an active member of the Institute for Biblical Research, the Society of Biblical Literature, and especially the Evangelical Theological Society, where she serves as Program Unit Chair for the Old Testament Theology section at the annual meeting. Her current research interests include literary criticism, theology of the Old Testament, the book of Judges, and poetry in biblical.
